How Customers are Assigned to Franchisees

Customers are assigned to Franchisees in different ways, depending on how they first entered the system

Customer Registers WITHOUT making a booking

In this case, the customer will be assigned to the Franchisee that owns their home postcode.

In rare cases this can cause an issue where the FranScape user is trying to book a customer in and the system says their email is already in use. If this happens you will need to contact your FranScape administrator asking them to reassign that customer to you.

Customer Registers makes a booking at the same time

In this case, the customer will be assigned to the Franchisee that owns the Class they have booked into.

Customer Registers WITHOUT making a booking, then makes a booking later on

In this case, the customer will be assigned to the Franchisee that owns their home postcode AND the Franchisee that owns the Class they have booked into. These are usually the same Franchisee but can be different Franchisees if the Customer lives near the border of two Territories.

What if a customer registers without making a booking and their postcode is not owned by any Franchisee?

These Customers still enter FranScape but are held in an Unassigned list. Your FranScape administrator can find them in Customers > Filters > Special > Customers with No Franchisee. From here they can reassign the Customer to the right Franchisee.
