How long does a Stripe Refund take?

What's expected

• Stripe refunds typically take between 5 to 10 business days to process and appear on the Customer's account 
• The actual time it takes for the refund to reflect on the Customer's statement depends on the bank's processing times

Failed Refunds

• If there are issues processing a refund, such as problems with the customer's bank account or card issuer, the refund amount may be returned to the Stripe account balance.
  • This can add additional time to the overall process as alternative refund arrangements need to be made​
