How do I process a gift code when accepting a booking?
Little Starts gift cards can be used to pay towards services throughout the network.
How can they be used?
- PIA - You can apply a discount at the point of booking.
- Monthly - You can add a credit, which can be used on their first monthly payment.
Processing Gift Cards - PIA Bookings
- Use Phone Bookings to start their booking.

In the Cost tab, add a fixed discount of the same amount

In the Payment tab, Copy & Paste the Gift Card reference into the payment notes field

Finish processing the booking
What if the booking cost is lower than the Gift Card amount?
- Apply a discount of the full booking amount
- Complete the booking
- Add the remainder of the Gift Card amount to the Customer as a Credit
Processing Gift Cards - Monthly Plan Bookings
NOTE: Gift Cards cannot not be used on their Monthly Initial Payment.
They will take effect on the customer's first scheduled monthly payment.

Process the Monthly Booking as usual via Phone Bookings
- Add the Gift Card amount to the Customer as a Credit
- Select Reason - Gift Card
- Paste the reference number in the transaction notes
Refunds from Gift Card Purchases
What if a Customer pays for lessons using a Gift Card, then cancels those lessons?:
- PIA: Customer cancels before attending lessons
- Add the Gift Card amount back onto the Customer's account as a Credit
- Monthly Plan: Customer cancels before attending lessons
- Add the Gift Card amount back onto the Customer's account as a Credit
- PIA: Customer cancels after attending lessons
- Add the Gift Card amount back onto the Customer's account as a Credit MINUS the cost of lessons already attended
- Monthly Plan: Customer cancels after attending lessons
- Add the Gift Card amount back onto the Customer's account as a Credit MINUS the cost of lessons already attended
In refund situations, always use up gift Card credit first
